About Fucking Flink

Who Are We?

Fucking Flink (“flink” is Danish for “friendly”) is a national movement. Our aim is to help the Danes – the world’s happiest people – also become the world’s friendliest people.

What Do We Do?

As a species, we humans have thrived through our ability to coexist, cohabitate and cooperate. Fucking Flink wants to enhance that human interplay even more. To do so, we pull on a number of disciplines such as social movement strategy, social psychology, neuroscience, anthropology, relational strategies, and theories of flow, nudging, and virality. Oh, and of course heaps of creativity. If you ask us, the burgeoning field of designing innovative solutions for positive human interplay lacks a good name. We often refer to ourselves as … social designers.

Organisation

Fucking Flink is Denmark’s largest modern-day movement. To create movement, we employ three organizational legs:

We communicate, spreading stories about friendliness. In 2012 our Facebook page was Denmark’s fastest growing.

We offer consulting, teach and participate in strategy development. In doing so we help organizations, governments, and municipalities create internal movements and bring friendliness to the fore in new, innovative ways – through employee cooperation as well as in customer service situations.

Finally, we collaborate with Danes throughout the country, biting into larger societal issues where a friendliness angle could be a new approach at solving a given problem.
